Cruise Ships come into The Belize Tourism Village which is located on the Belize River mouth, about 15 minutes away from cruise ship anchorage. Specifically designed to cater to cruise lines, the Village has courtyards and terminals offering bathroom facilities, restaurants, snack bars, entertainment (on cruise ship days), access to land and marine tours as well as a variety of local souvenirs, jewelry and clothing.

 

Small, regularly scheduled water taxis travel between Punta Gorda, in the southern district of Toledo, and Puerto Barrios in Eastern Guatemala.

Maritime ports of entry are Belize City, Corozal, Dangriga, Big Creek, San Pedro, and Punta Gorda. You are required to report your entry to the police or immigration authorities as soon as possible after entering Belizean territory.
